Finished pointing the bottom patio eventually yesterday - hurrah - swept all the dried up mortar off this morning (believe they're called "snots" in the trade !) - might even take a photo after work today when it's had a bit longer to dry out. Not much else from Sunday ... watched "Classic Albums" last night on Sky2 (making the most before we finally say farewell to Sky - Freeview all the way now - well it is built into the telly !) - it was "Bat Out of Hell" featuring my hero (Todd Rundgren not Jim Steinman !). Took me back a bit - to a small flat in Andover in 1977, listening to the Sunday afternoon Rock Show on BBC Radio Bristol - where I first heard the album ...
Also played about on Photoshop 6 with some "babycam" pictures of our mate's new kitten - a stray with only one eye (apparently the vet reckons it had been bitten by a rat - ouch !) Try this one for size ...
Time for some brekky now I think, before hitting the pavements of Oldham ... Football this week may well involve Glossop North End on Wednesday night - they had a bad start to the Vodkat League season, losing 3-0 away at Padiham on Saturday - Flixton are the visitors to Surrey Street this midweek. Might take in the Stalybridge "Meet the Manager" session on Tuesday evening as well ...
