If it's Holiday ...

... it must be time for some garden activity ! As predicted, B&Q was on Sunday's itinerary - and a few more of those bloomin' slabs (the ones that took over my life last summer !) were purchased in order to make a start on finishing the "top bit of the bottom garden" as they say !!



(spot the new breeze block wall from a couple of weeks ago - and the pond is FULL of tadpoles !!) ... nice day for working outside as well ... and so - a few hours later ...



... run out of slabs now (and I'm looking at yet more breeze blocks to construct just to the left of these slabs - it never ends) - and it seems that by the time I get around to getting some more, the nice weather will have disappeared !!

Outdoor was followed by indoor - a bit of kitchen creativity for tea ...



... possible football option tonight (Wednesday) - Dukinfield Town v Old Alts in the Manky League - but it is an 1830hrs kick-off - and so is dependent on me getting home from "a certain engineering company in Cheadle Hulme" in time - yes I've gone for the "help the buggers out" option this afternoon (once the electrician - currently "doing stuff" in our house - has finished) ...
