Sunday - The "Cotton Mill Express"

All thoughts of football suitably banished for a while at least. Up early and on the 0932 from Mossley down to Stalybridge to try to emulate Bishop Eric Treacy !! (if you don't know - Google him...). As it was a clean and sparkly morning, I thought I'd give that 170-500mm "loan lens" an outing. Anyway... here are the pix from not 90 minutes ago - ain't technology wonderful !!

Now off to the kitchen to "slow-cook" tonight's beef in some ale - tidy up before the return of Mrs Smiffy - and then return to Stalybridge Buffet Bar - because today Sylvia reaches the big six-oh - and there's a "bit of a do" this afternoon - with nibblies I hope.
