Think most of my grouse is actually with the mis-reporting by the media - and some interesting omissions of facts - on both sides mind !!! The only reason 2006 wasn't as bad was that it was one-tenth of the size. Extrapolate up and .... anything can happen. Extrapolate down and you get the man in a suit on my train last night - eating an orange and sneakily dumping the peel down the side of his seat - or the lad walking back from Greenfield Band Contest dumping his empty can in a flower bed ...

I guess the point is that we're ALL a bunch a sh*ts really - but those who shout/moan the loudest - or have access to the correct forms of spin - will always appear to be the "holier-than-thou perfect members" of society and therefoe RIGHT where all others are wrong - and that includes me naturally !!!

Now that really irritates me. Along with people who put their feet on seats, believe that their luggage deserves a seat of its own and those who crowd round the doors when a train pulls in so that no one can get off.

I'm rather liberal in my outlook on life but I'd quite happily support any change in the law which means that those particular offenders are shot on the spot.
