A Sunday Walk ...

... well Saturday afternoon - I ended up making a large pan of French Onion Soup - because I can (and we had loads of onions !) - now residing in the freezer - then over to Rochdale in the evening for large meal @ friends and a bit of Trivial Pursuit - and today a walk around Hebden Bridge taking in the Rochdale Canal, Blackshaw Head, Colden Clough and Heptonstall. Football this midweek - no bloomin' chance - I don't have a ticket, but I don't even hold out much chance for the Droylsden v Leyton Orient FA Cup game tomorrow night (although - if on - I may adjourn to a hostelry somewhere that's got ESPN !!) - we'll see ... in the meantime, I'm getting the call of a comfortable bed followed by several large red bags full of packets - eek !
