... it was cold last night - and apparently the game WAS in doubt early doors - but a sprinkling of magic dust (or something like that !!) at the Park End and it was game on ! Certainly a game of two halves - Mossley bossed the first 45 minutes and looked comfy at 3-0 up. However - why make it easy ?? There must have been something in the respective team's half-time cuppas as Clitheroe came out with all guns blazing and Mossley just got deeper and deeper and deeper. When it got to 3-2 the alarm bells were ringing ... Mossley were restricted to the odd breakaway which could on a couple of occasions made the game safe - 4 minutes added time as well - but they held out to make it two wins out of two in 2011 (and 13 points out of the last 15 actually). Lazy night tonight (what's left of it anyway) before heading back to the grindstone tomorrow - and it's going to be interesting to say the least. My walk is (for better for worse) part of the Oldham East and Saddleworth constituency - and on New Years Eve I was confronted with this "little lot" - yep a couple of "electoral communications" which need posting ...
... and there's more to come as well - aaarrgh !!
