... and it was good to see Malc Torkington at the game (ex work colleague at the "Tower of Doom") - his lad is the captain of Stockport Georgians...).

Today - amongst the cr*ppy weather - we looked something new - I said "how about a 'quirky museum' ??" - so - one Google later ... we went to Northwich - saw the Anderton Boat Lift (pictures to follow !!) ... and then went to the Salt Museum in the old Northwich Workhouse ... and IT WAS very interesting ...every now and then you've just GOT to get away from the same old boring stuff

Next on the list - Penny Farthing Museum (Knutsford I think), the Umbrella Museum (near Little Moreton Hall ?) and other such stuff ... there's a Bakelite Museum somewhere ... now then ....
